  Wheelin' Sportsmen NWTF is dedicated to providing people with disabilities, including disabled hunters, disabled anglers and other outdoor enthusiasts, the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities. Today, disabled women, kids and men of all ages are once again enjoying the outdoors.

Disabled or able-bodied individuals can be members of Wheelin' Sportsmen. Anyone who is interested in the outdoors and hunting activities can become a member.

2. Do I have to be a member to participate in Wheelin' Sportsmen events?

No, anyone can participate in Wheelin' Sportsmen events.

3. How important is Wheelin' Sportsmen to a disabled individual?

Making friends, being more active and getting into the outdoors are just some of the benefits Wheelin' Sportsmen offers to someone disabled. The organization promotes self esteem and confidence for anyone involved.

4. What do I get with a Wheelin' Sportsmen membership?

With a Wheelin' Sportsmen membership, you receive a membership card, decal, Wheelin' Sportsmen Magazine and updates on all upcoming WS events.

5. How do I obtain a Wheelin' Sportsmen membership application?

6. Can other organizations partner with WS to host an event?

Yes. The NWTF encourages all organizations and businesses to sponsor and host events across the nation.

7. Who can host a WS event?

Anyone!! The first step is to call the Chain-O-Lakes Gobblers at 1-352-217-2257 and get information on how to host an event, or download this manual.

8. How many people does it take to have a Wheelin' Sportsmen event?

As few as one person can signify an event, but the more involved make for a more memorable hunt.

Listen up!

There is no reason to sit at home and read about what others are doing. You can do it too. More and more disabled hunters are taking to the fields and lakes in Florida thanks to the dedication of many Florida NWTF chapters and sponsors.
