If you are already a NWTF member please consider volunteering some of your time to our outreach programs fund raising efforts. Our chapter volunteer's our services to the Leesburg Partnership for Mardi Gras and Bikefest, this in turn helps us sponsor our local and state Jakes education programs. We are proud to have held our third Statewide Jakes event this past January. See the events photos on the Jakes menu for an example of the fun this kids have at our events.

With Bikefest coming in April we need all the help we can get so please volunteer soon. Contact any of our chapter members on the contacts page for information. You will be helping our kids and you'll have fun doing it too.

We wish to express our deepest thinks to everyone who attended this years Hunting Heritage Banquet. Without your continued help and support we would not be able to do the things we do for conservation in our community and promote our outreach programs.

Thanks too you we have had seven great years of very successful JAKES, WITO and WHEELIN SPORTSMEN programs and events and have been able to contributed thousands of dollars toward conservation and community projects such as funds provided to the FWC Youth Education Center, The Boy Scout Camp, The Boys & Girls Club of Lake & Sumter Co., Scholarships for area high school seniors and Lake Sumter Community College, Thanksgiving dinners for area families in need and the soon to be implemented Archery in the Schools educational program at Oak Park Middle School.

The Chain-O-Lakes Gobblers established this web site in an effort to help promote the National Wild Turkey Federation and it´s goals and to provide our membership and visitors with useful information regarding the benefits and activities that are available to them through the NWTF, our chapter and the outreach programs we support.
